Canon Powers: Unlike many Rangers, though not all, RJ does have powers outside of his Ranger form. Specifically, as a master of Wolf-Style Pai Zhua Kung Fu, he's able to use his inner animal spirit to increase the powers of his attacks or summon it as a spiritual wolf to attack on its own.
With the Wolf Morpher, he can transform into the Jungle Fury Wolf Power Ranger. The transformation increases his natural strength, speed, and agility, and provides a certain level of physical protection. The Morpher also acts as his personal weapon, firing a blast of energy roughly equivalent to the power of most team-powered cannons, being able to defeat a pre-giant-growth monster in one shot.
By summoning his inner Wolf-spirit as a Zord, and combining it with simulacrums of the Tiger and Jaguar Zords created through his knowledge of both styles, he can also form the Wolf Pride Megazord as his own personal Megazord.
Additionally, in the event his inner wolf spirit is corrupted, he forcibly changes into an uncontrollable werewolf form. There's evidence that, at a certain level of mastery, he'd be able to change into this form at will. However, the only Pai Zhua masters seen doing this are, at the youngest, twice his age, if not more.

The werewolf form gives him a sizeable increase in strength and a minor increase in both speed and sense of hearing and smell , while the full-wolf form gives him a minor increase in the former, offset by being quadrupedal, and a sizeable increase in the latter.
